Learn about the Charity Pledge
The Charity Pledge is an open invitation to all Catholics who wish to live charity in a constant, concrete, and passionate way. More than a one-off gesture, it is a free decision to practice charity in your daily life, consecrating and placing all your goods, spiritual and material, under the maternal care of the Virgin Mary for the salvation of souls.
Why make a Pledge?
Charity is like a seed; it bears fruit in both the planter and the receiver. It is the most visible sign of living faith. The Church has always been sustained by the generosity of those who understand that everything they possess is a gift from God.
The Charity Pledge is born to encourage and rekindle the awareness that each faithful person can, according to their possibilities, be a continuous supporter of the works of evangelization, mission, and care for the poorest.
By making this private and personal commitment, you will be walking a path of continuous generosity under the care of the Mother of Providence, and the essential thing is constancy of heart and a sincere desire to do good.

Under the mantle of the Mother of Providence
Unlike the Giving Pledge, which invites only billionaires around the world to publicly commit to generous donations, the Charity Pledge proposes something deeper, a particular and private purpose, open to all, in which each Catholic decides to place their life and possessions at the service of the Kingdom of God. Here, it is not about wealth, but about fidelity. The value of the offering is not measured, but by perseverance in charity.
This commitment is born from and sustained by trust in the Mother of Providence. By consecrating their possessions to her care, the faithful recognize that Mary knows better than anyone how to direct our gifts to where they are most needed. Inspired by the spirituality of consecration to the Blessed Virgin, the Charity Pledge is lived with humility, trusting abandonment, and persevering generosity, believing that God provides for those who are willing to love.
How can we live this Pledge in practice?

Make your Pledge
By freely accepting this mission, you are invited to pray and write your Charity Pledge letter, offering your life, your possessions, and your intentions to the care of the Mother of Providence, so that everything may be guided according to God's will and for the salvation of souls.
By participating in this commitment, you can join the community of Benefactors of the Mother of Providence, an online space where participants receive news, testimonies, and updates about the institutions and works supported by the Mater Providentiae Fund, strengthening the shared journey in charity and mission.
Remember: This is not a contract, nor a financial obligation, but a personal act of love for your neighbor. Do not publicize the charities you perform, but invite others to do charity as well. If you feel in your heart the call to do good, walk with us under the mantle of the Mother of Providence.

"I freely, through the intercession of Our Lady and Saint Joseph, make a personal and private commitment to live charity as a permanent path in my life. I acknowledge that everything I possess comes from God and must return to Him out of love. I commit myself to giving continuously, according to my means, supporting works of charity, mission, and evangelization of the Catholic Church, whether through tithes, alms, institutional and missionary charity, or through direct acts of love for my neighbor. I consecrate all my possessions, my resources, my work, and my intentions to the care of the Mother of Providence, asking that she guide them according to God's will, for the good of the Holy Church and the salvation of souls. I wish to live this commitment with fidelity, simplicity, and perseverance for all the days of my life, trusting in Divine Providence. Amen."
